The Sage: Volume 1
A Civil War veteran named Elijah returns to his hometown of Mill Ford only to find it abandoned and its residents transformed by a spreading infection marked by black veins and milky eyes. After joining a group of survivors that includes a Native American woman named Ayana, Elijah learns from a blind elder that an amulet he carries is connected to an ancient sealed evil — and that retrieving artifacts from Walker Lake may be the only way to stop it.
