Founder

My journey began as a structural engineer working with underprivileged communities in Cape Town. From there, I transitioned into financial services with Capital One learning about product, data and marketing, splitting my time between Johannesburg and the UK.

At Xumo, I had the privilege of partnering with every major global smart TV platform and content company, ranging from the very small to the industry heavyweights, building both consumer-facing and enterprise-level streaming television solutions. In 2020, Xumo was acquired by Comcast and became the foundation for a multi-billion-dollar joint venture with Charter, cementing its place as a key player in the streaming ecosystem.

I took my first big leap into the tech world when I moved to Washington DC, USA, joining the online advertising startup Advertising.com in Baltimore which was successfully sold to AOL Time Warner in 2005. From there, I moved through London, working across Europe with Advertising.com and Specific Media, before returning to California. Next, I founded Xumo, a pioneer in the FAST (Free-Ad-Supported Television) industry.
